The Boswells are a local family. They are lifelong collectors and world travelers. The are generously offering their collection for public view at Joshua Tree Earth and Space Museum.

Terry and Susan Boswell have traveled, dug, sold and collected meteorites, fossils, minerals, and handcrafted imports for many years. They have always shared their love of these kinds of experiences and things with their family and with other interested people.

They have taught in schools, befriended NASA scientists, museum curators, bedouins in the Sahara desert, rock hounds, earth scientists, meteorite hunters, young and old alike. They have seen many sacred sites, famous tourist attractions, and also other relatively unknown parts of this world.

They enjoy what they do and would like to share their joy and passion with you through this facility and their collection.

Why "Joshua Tree"?

Joshua Boswell, Terry and Susan's son, was killed in an automobile accident in 1997. He was 21 years old. As a young man, Joshua's parents had taken him to Joshua Tree National Park. It was one of his favorite places in the country. Upon his return from the trip, Joshua, who was an artist, painted a scene of his experience at the park. After his death, the family decided to memorialize their operation in his name.

They opened Joshua Tree Imports in 2002, and we set up Joshua Tree Earth and Space Museum in 2005.
